FYSI: THE FISTA YOUTH SCIENCE INITIATIVE

Challenge:
Create a science center for families and kids that complements the innovative work being done at The FISTA, a new facility for science and technology learning in Lawton, Oklahoma, home of Fort Sill.
Solution:
Concept and design FYSI, a new 19,500 square foot science center in Lawton, Oklahoma, that forms part of a multiyear urban revitalization plan with STEM learning at its core. From the forces that move our world to the ideas we express, the experiences at FYSI will invite kids to explore, create, and imagine their place in the future. Hands On!'s design encompasses activities for toddlers to teens, ensuring FYSI will be a welcoming hub for all families in the Lawton/Fort Sill community.
